To make the copper wire, you first need to find copper ore. Also, you will require an Assembler at your homestead.
Where to Find Copper
To find copper, players will want to visit the Edge Cliffs location on the map. This is the place to the south of The Meadows where you begin the game.
Before you can get this mineral, you need to repair Edge Cliffs by removing the Noxious Weeds. After that, you need to upgrade your Spike Saw to your mech. Once both targets have been completed, you’ll be able to mine the ore deposits within the region. There are multiple deposits scattered around.
How to Make Copper Wire
Bring the copper back to your Homestead and use the Assembler to make copper wire.
Once you have the mineral, you can create the item at your camp without requiring any extra resources, as it will automatically unlock the copper wire recipe back at your camp. Just remember that each wire will require two Ore, so make sure you have enough before creating.
