They go on a trip to establish a new home, manage unusual alien crops, build personalized homesteads, and explore the untamed expanses of this enthralling world. You can play the game in single-player or multiplayer mode with your friends.
How to Play Lightyear Frontier Multiplayer
First, choose “Multiplayer” from the main menu to play with your friends in Lightyear Frontier. Then, you decide if you want to host or join a game.
If you select host, you can initiate multi-player sessions in a new or existing world. Choose the world where you would like to play first. You could even secure your session with a password if you wish. Once inside the world, open up the menu and invite friends over. Either click on your friend’s name to invite them directly or provide them with an invitation code.
If you decide to join a game, a list of recent multiplayer sessions you have been playing will be shown. Choose one from the list or enter an invite code to join a specific session.
Is Lightyear Frontier crossplay?
Yes, Lightyear Frontier supports crossplay, which means players on the Xbox and PC versions of the game can play with each other.
How to Play Lightyear Frontier on PS5
Currently, it is unknown whether the game will launch on the PS5. Developers just made it clear on the official Discord channel that they are concentrating on the PC and Xbox Series S/X versions at the moment. It means that a PlayStation version is not something we should anticipate anytime soon.
